We know that we’ve talked about procrastination, and taking breaks, especially from architecture. Sooo, we have these amazing websites that you can get inspired from when you are just simply not having it, or just having a major head blockage, this can for sure help you out. 

So just sit back, relax with your phone, tablet, or computer and check out these sites.

So, this statement is really promising, and it is. I mean, once you open this site, you’ll see so many things that it just makes you want to have a bunch of time to surf around for hours and hours. The images this site gives you, along with a plain background so nothing can be distracting. One other cool feature, is that it doesn’t need that much text to get the point across. I mean, the name itself says it all, Archdaily. Architecture for you on the daily haha, no, but seriously. For us at Show It Better, we are constantly surfing this site, it has a vast variety to choose from, and if you don’t have enough time, you can just search by keywords and voilá. Fast and easy. Now, there is nothing more satisfying than getting inspired by work from way back in time. I mean, once you visit this site, you’ll know what we are talking about, this site will help you see things a bit different when comparing today’s and the past’s drawings. Drawing Matter is an organisation that explores the role of drawing in architectural thought and practice. Check Drawing Matter here.

So this site it’s not only about architecture, you can also find inspiration for interior design. You can take a look at some talks, info on events, competitions. etc. Their mission is simple: to bring you a carefully edited selection of the best architecture, design and interiors projects and news from around the world. Check out Dezeen here.

Socks Studio was founded by Mariabruna Fabrizi and Fosco Lucarelli, two Italian architects currently living in Paris. Socks aims to offer alternative tools for contemporary investigation and production. This is one of those sites that just goes straight to the point. When you are searching for something on this site, you feel that you can’t find it anywhere else, and trust me, it’s a good feeling. So Alex Hogrefe started this site with the intention of putting his thesis progress for his instructors. Then he just started uploading his thoughts, works, experiments, etc. So he noticed that this site was coming along and he started uploading along with his work, tutorials, I mean tutorials! Divisare is the result of an effort of selection and classification of contemporary architecture conducted for over twenty years. This website has so much work to choose from you can’t wrap your head around it. We were looking at it, and you can even filter architecture by countries, projects by cities,designers from different parts of the world, even the type of housing from each country. We are in love.
