There is nothing more pleasing to the eye than the combination and use of concrete in all of Tadao Ando’s work. With this spotlight, we are sharing with you some of his famous works.

This self-taught architect born in Osaka, Japan, used to have a boxing career but after being struck by the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Imperial Hotel on a trip to Tokyo, decided to take drawing and interior design courses,  Ando’s architectural style is said to create a “haiku” effect, emphasizing nothingness and empty space to represent the beauty of simplicity
